So, I can't resist telling this... our bit of excitement yesterday was provided by some fool in a Dodge Ram who took a corner half a block from my house too tight or too fast and wiped out a seven-foot cinderblock wall slightly wider than his truck, barely missed an electric pole, creamed a freestanding pool six feet deep, and demolished the wood fence beyond it. Yes, they did arrest him....
There is a joke here about the nice quiet neighborhood I just moved to... was having trouble sleeping without the sirens and other traffic noise...
