The hardest part of crate training is NOT the cleaning up of the
"accidents" or trying to get them to go in there (they are naturally
drawn to cave-like dwellings), it is listening to them whimpering in
there at night, IMHO. You just feel so bad, you want them to come and
snuggle up with you, but you know you have to persevere...

I let Libby up on our bed once. Just once. At 4AM, I woke up soaked
and had to get up to clean the comforter, sheets, etc. I learned my
lesson that night....and the rest of the day, while I cleaned the
mattress like a madman.

Crate training is easy as long as you're consistent, and like Erika
said, never make it a bad place.

I just free cycled her last crate that I hadn't used in years.
