So if it's not a crime then what's the problem? Listening to the whole thing, and I'm not a Bush or Karl Rover supporter, but if she did actually send her own husband, a Democrat, to investigate these claims, then it does kind of stink of some sort of conspiracy, whether or not he's right. So if Karl Rove did in fact commit a crime, then it of course is wrong. If he did not commit a crime, then he was trying to play the spin game which is normal and done by everyone. So what's your beef?

So technically he did not commit a crime. how convenient for both him and bush. larry On 7/18/05, Matthew Small <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > President Bush today appeared to raise the threshold for firing any White > House official who leaked the identity of a covert CIA agent, saying he > would dismiss anyone who "committed a crime" in the case. > > In a White House press briefing after a meeting with the visiting Indian > prime minister, Bush stuck to his insistence on waiting until an > investigation is complete before substantively commenting on the case of > Valerie Plame, whose identity was leaked in July 2003.
