Actually I think the airwaves are too supportive of the man's Iraq policy, especially in the months leading up to the invasion. I do believe more people are now seeing Iraq for the problem it is and will be for years to come. Iraq was a mistake, but in the months following 9/11 few had the guts to stand up and say so. If they did they were blasted for not being patriotic.
We have not improved the safety of the world at all by invading Iraq. Hopefully we have made life better, or the chance of life being better for the majority of Iraqis, but at what cost? $320 billion and counting, over 10,000 Americans wonded, over 1700 Americans dead. Tens of thousands of Iraqis killed and many more wounded, a couple dozen dead and wounded allies And the creation of a lightening rod for furthering the hate of Americans by many in the Middle East. What have we gained? -----Original Message----- From: John Dowdell [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, July 20, 2005 3:12 PM To: CF-Community Subject: Re: Studies: Most foreign fighters didn't wage terror before Iraq war Ken Ketsdever wrote: > Ok, You got me. You're fed hate through the airwaves I know, but resist, question authority, think for yourself, you can do it! > Of course this is still not accurate according to his IQ, just his > actions in regards to the Iraq War. That was just a battle. We've got to find some way to include those people who categorize and demonize groups of people, whether "the jews", "the heathens" or (prepare yourself) "the republicans" -- that's the real war. The Iraq campaign was just part of this self-defense, auto-immune effort.
