Haha, he says that the companies are treating the consumers like morons then goes on to complain about how developing for a multicore architecture is doctoral level work. You know what? As far as this kind of development goes, I AM a moron.
All I need to know is will it look better, how much will it cost, and when? The first is a given, the second is somewhat moot considering how much PC gaming cards are going for these days, and the last barely matters when fun games are still coming out for the current consoles. It's about playing games. All consumers should be concerned with is having fun with it. I have no clue why gamers get so caught up in the tech and business side of it all. -Kevin On 7/25/05, Vivec <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > He cautioned that none of the console companies has shown any running > code that could even be considered a close proxy to what we'll see at > launch, and they're treating hte consumers like morons (and the > majority of consumers are lapping it up). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:166353 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
