Another argument I have seldom heard is that opponents do not consider how the money is actually spent. How much of it is on actual materials and how much is it on 10's maybe 100's of thousands of salaries and wages? If you shut down NASA you are going to put a lot of people out of work. Doesn't sound like a very good "solution" to me?
