Well, I'm an increasingly big fan of firewire -- FW800 if you can get
it.  USB2, SATA onboard, etc.

I'd decide now whether you want to try your old chip/RAM combination, or
go to something newer, as that's going to make a huge difference in the
boards your'e looking at.
