It probably came with the truck (I don't believe those are standard-sized mattresses). Still - if that's the case why not just store the plastic-coated mattress someplace safe and throw an air mattress or something there. Or just a pile of leaves and twigs and get back to your primitive roots. ;^) Although in the end this sounds a little more like "too much time on your hands" than "too few solutions to the problem".
