You're both right.

Local and National Democrats can't stand not raising taxes to pay for new
programs.

National Republicans spend money we don't have.

Local Republicans (at least in my area) seem to be much more fiscally
conservative.
 
I'd love to be a Republican but can't stand the Bush regime.

Republicans prefer bankrupting children, i.e., every single
appropriations bill Mr. Bush has signed.  How many pork bills has he
