I've got family down there who lost a brand new $300,000 home about 8-9 miles from where the levee broke in New Orleans...it's now under water and they fled to Lake Charles leaving behind everything they own and so have many other people. I may have been wrong about Bourbon street, but it's going to get worse before it gets any better.
