Yeah. Drove over 2600 miles. Went north via the Blue Ridge mountains, thru PA into western Jersey, up the 287 thru Morristown into Parsippany, non-stop except for gas and drink.
Spent 9 lovely days there going to a 3-day-weekend-drunk-fest-pool-swimming-swilling-tequila-in-the-hot-tub-d oing-shots-down-the-ice-luge-party, running my friend's print shop, taking clients to supper, 2 nights of drinking and eating in NYC, 1 night of a quiet supper at a clients back yard oasis complete with hot tub, wet bar and outdoor kitchen/BBQ. Let us not forget the hot tub and pool at the hotel. Then headed down to the Jersey Shore via drinking at a tiki bar at Asbury Park, Ortley Beach, Martell's in Seaside Heights, Atlantic City, spent the night in a cheap motel in Cape May then took the ferry over to Lewes. Did the Delaware beaches, lunch in Ocean City, Maryland then the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel, Virginia Beach, then drove along the 58 to the 95 and put the pedal down to get to Hilton Head for a 2 night detour before finally reaching home yesterday afternoon. Yes, all in all a very good trip.
