I managed to figure out where Russell worked from an old CF-Community post and posted an inquiry there, I got the following from him this morning.

I have been wondering about how you were doing. Too bad it took Hurricane Katrina to put us back in contact. I have just gotten email access back this evening. Melissa, my wife, and I have evacuated to Gonzales today with the rest of the SunShine Pages. Before that, we were in Amite, Louisiana at my parents. We are staying with an angel here who works for the parent company. our number is 225-644-4999 if you want to call. I may have lost most of my furniture and clothing, but my electronics probably survived. That is my luck. I need clothing and a place to stay, not a DVD player. A little problem like a hurricane makes you realize what your priorities should be. Almost all of my famliy is accounted for and mostly out of danger. My brother was activated with the National Guard but will not be going into New Orleans. He is a mechanic and will be keeping the trucks going in running. Everyone else is physically fine as far as I know, but emotionally worn out. Let everyone know I am well. I'm going to get into CF Community and post how I am doing in a little bit.
