Renown German hacker group Chaos Computer Club has built what 
it calls the world's largest interactive computer display, 
using the entire face of a building to flash messages into the 
night.

The project, called "Blinkenlights," involves 144 bright lights 
in the windows of the top eight stories of a downtown Berlin 
building. By turning the lights on and off, the building can 
display simple text messages, images, and animations.  

Tech-savvy Berliners can submit ideas for project images and 
messages via the Web. They can even call a phone number and 
play Pong on the screen, controlling the action with their cell 
phone's keypad. The 20-year-old club built Blinkenlights as a 
special present to the city of Berlin. For more information, go to
