I've never been there, but I remember even as young as I was in the
80's thinking that the kind of propaganda the gov't churned out from
Pueblo was really strange... because so much of it didn't appear (at
the time) to have much to do with anything really. "For your free
booklet on how to keep your pets flea-and-tick free, write to...
Pueblo Colorado" ... always wondered how it was tax money got
funnelled into taht stuff, especially with lots of TV spots... though
in retrospect it seems like a likely way for them to encourage
specific types of consumer behavior.
