Biggest Myth that US Government Propogates to Keep US Tax Payers Thinking
They're Better Than Someone Else:

>would they also cut
>those crazy taxes you guys pay?

See (as a few examples):

http://www.knv.com/Publications/Corpgraph2005.pdf
http://www.accf.org/publications/reports/sr-intcomp-deathtax.html
http://www.sarnialambton.on.ca/main/ns/103/doc/218

Our personal taxes may be somewhat higher, but our environment for small and
large business, lack of Death Tax and a swack of other incentives (R&D for
example) really makes us on par or better with the US tax system. Look for
continuing advantages over the next couple years as we've just retired 60
Billion in Federal Debt and run Deficit free budgets.

For the more "Socialist" view point, the cost of my medical, protection, and
transportation costs are WAY cheaper through higher taxes that by any
user-pay system identified. So if you compare dollar in pocket value between
US and Canadian individuals, the US wins - absolutely. But if you compare
dollar in pocket + value of goods and services provided by Federal,
Provincial/State and Municipal government, you'll find that Canada outstrips
the US in value. See G8 documents and UN documents on these facts.

<sarcasm and friendly jest>
But I digress - pets Americans - yes dear - your taxes are way lower than
ours - pet pet pet - some day we'll learn.
</sarcasm and friendly jest>
