I also will use ASP, JSP, PHP, CFM, XML, HTML/OS, ETC

When a company wants a windows app build do they say... No C++ we want it in
Delphi?

When this situation comes up my response is that, I'll do it in ASP, JSP, or
even god help me PHP, but it will cost you more and take longer to complete.
:)
I've never had anyone insist on going with a different language. I wouldn't
be too sure about a client that insists on having that much control over my
process anyway. If the site gets done, and it works, why would it matter
what language the site is programmed in?

because it didn't have faith in CF when and I quote "They don't even use CF
for their own site, how am I supposed to go with that......". This really
confuses me....I know that there are many ways to skin a cat. But wouldn't
you think for marketing sakes that would use it???
