I'm not sold on the whole Netflix thing yet. I love the queue, but I'm not convinced about the value.
The turn-around time for movies is generally 5-6 days, with day 1 being the day you send the movie back to them and day 5 (or 6) being when you get the next one. The distribution centers do not work on Saturday, so they have to receive the movie on Friday if you want something for the weekend. That means you have to send it back by Tuesday (but Monday is safer), then they'll send them out and you'll have the new movies on Saturday. Using that as a guide, w/ the "3 movie at a time" plan, you can only rent 12 movies a month. You should have no trouble going through all 50 in a 6 month period. But, when you get them make sure you watch them and send them back out quick. I suspect that if you're closer to a distribution center, your turn-around time may be shorter, though.
