Your return envelope has the center's address on it, so you should be able to tell exactly how far you are. If you aren't already, and if it's convenient, you might try dropping the movie at the post office early in the morning. As others have said, it sometimes improves your turn-around time depending on the delivery schedule of your local post office. If you really wanted to do some research you could try to chat up a postal employee and see if they'll give you tips on the fastest location to drop off at. One post office's schedule may differ from another, outbound truck schedules may differ, and certain post drops may have a faster route to the distribution center.
