My father just proudly told me that he found a previously unlocated great uncle in the records at Ellis Island. I was surprised, having been through there. Come to find out the man immigrated in 1913 not in the 30s as he told me... since Ellis Island was pretty much disused after 1924 this does make a difference, duh.
