So long as they are operating in a legal manner and are paying the taxes
they are supposed to pay, then what business does the government have
getting involved in the day to day operation.

IF wal-mart came in requesting tax breaks, and the government said, ok, but
you have to do this, then both sides have made an agreement.

I realize there have been other incidents with wal-mart and those are or
have been dealt with, as they should be.

It is similar the marriage penalty. By being married our tax burden is
higher than if we weren't married. I think that is unfair. Because we are
now a larger organization, more is expected of us than when we were
individuals.
