I just got my first Lap Top! :) A Dell XPS M170. 17 inches of shiny goodness for the monitor and a Pentium - M processor to push everything, plus a 7800 GTX Go video processor for the graphics :)
This thing is faster than my desktop! I am still in the process of installing everything for it. WOOT! I'm so stoked to be able to sit in my bed and work! *big grin* I can now experience what so many of my friends have described. The old wake up in the morning...check mail...do stuff...all without leaving the bed. hee hee hee ^_^ One thing I've found though, is that I have trouble reading text. :-\ The 17 inch is big, but it could be my eyes, or it could just be normal that at 1920 x 1080 the text is just ...well..small :-\ I'm also discovering MIMO Wireless technology. So I have roaming internet throughout the apartment. Does anyone have suggestions on securing the network?
