I have 6 different versions installed. It seems like everytime I use a tool, each tool runs best on a different version (rarely the latest!). Anyway, try using 1.4.2_03 or thereabouts and see what that yields. You don't need to uninstall and reinstall anything, just point the config file to the alternate location for the JRE.
