A couple of years ago, my daughter was given a Dell PC for her birthday.
With that PC, came MS Money 2004.

I installed it on my computer and used it for our personal finances.
Money 2004 works perfectly for me.

Today, I thought I would update and see if there were any patches that
needed to be installed. However, what did MS install?

A bunch of fekking "Upgrade to Money 2006" ads. These damn things
appear all over the damn product. Well, by now, you may know how I feel
about marketers of all types...

When will this marketing shit stop? I tried the 2006 demo for a few
hours a couple of weeks ago. It was too different and added nothing to
what Money 2004 already does for me. Why the hell should I spend $40+
just to get rid of the ads until Money 2008 is released and then Money
2006 will start "reminding" me to upgrade yet again.

Now, I can't select an option that lets me disable any upgrade
reminders.

Just wait until MS Office pops up "reminders" that say, "We know you are
still using Office 2000, but you should upgrade to Office 2007. Press a
button to continue: [Upgrade] or [Close Office]"
