Ha! When I wrote this, I was reminded of the scene in "Full Metal Jacket" with Pyle, the drill sargeant, and Joker in the head. I don't know if I remember the exact dialog, but it goes something like this:
Sargeant: Private, what is Private Pyle doing in my head? Why are you not stomping Private Pyle's guts out?
