Read anything about them, and you see that this is NOT a nice guy. He was their mouthpiece. The one who tried did his best to rationalize the violence, intolerence and brutality of that regime. Who holds all the beliefs of the Taliban dear to his heart. Not the kind of guy we should be bending rules for. The kind of guy who should NEVER have been allowed into the country. A scumbag.
