I'm planning on putting some cable runs through the floor of the new house.
All of the cable TV/Phone/Ethernet lines originate in the garage and the
rest of the basement rooms have drop ceilings.

I'd like to route the bulk of the cabling above these drop ceilings and send
them up through holes in the floors (a couple in the living room, one in
each bedroom closet, etc).

I want the holes large enough to provide some freedom (at least enough for
cable TV and Ethernet but with some room to expand). I'm thinking no
smaller than 1" and no larger than 2 1/2".

What I'd like is a grommet that will make these look good - preferably as
flush to the floor as possible (some of the floors are carpeted, some are
hardwood). I've found lots of nice desktop grommets like these:

What I'm looking for is the same kind of thing for floors. I'd like
something with a drop pipe going trough the floor which will accept a
tightening nut below to pull the grommet tight to the carpet. I don't know
if I'm making any sense but the desk grommets don't have enough depth to
"stick" to carpets well.

Anybody know of any?
