Um, while Iraq was in violation of a ton of UN based rules, they were actually exporting more oil at cheaper prices than before the gulf war or after the invasion. I know a lot of people want to romanticize and say that this is a war for oil but the opposite is true. Oil was flowing before the war and is not now.
