> You having other network troubles? Some switches don't support teaming.

No other network issues, our network guys are top notch and the
switches all support teaming (part of the reason my new boxes were
spec'd that way...).

Turns out the datasource was set to "Suspend All Client Connections"

I didn't do it.

I'd like to think that something in the install of the PROSET software
might have done it.

Found a link on HOF (Thanks Michael!) to a thread (well one message
really) from '03:

http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/messages.cfm/forumid:4/threadid:23375#117497

but this was about setting up sandbox security, which I was _not_ doing.

weird.

anyway.

I unchecked "Suspend..." and the datasource (and the site) started
responding again to client connections.

no, none, nada, goose-egg references to this on the MacroDobe site. So
now I mirror David Murphy at the end of his post, "Why MacroDobe?
Why?"

In his case at least there was a bit of an explanation, doesn't
setting up sandbox security automatically "turn off" database
connections?
