you might be able to use their asynch XML demo, where they have an XML file that has the marker points, and supposedly can feed to the map, and display new ones... so, maybe you could get all of the visitors ip/location (from a geocode or ip2location service) and write them to that xml file, and then asynchronously feed the newly added lines of location, to the map?
