I finally got to watch this. This guy is definitely playing for real. There are a few spots where he gets off the tape and you can hear his guitar not perfectly matching the 'record' he is playing too.
There are a ton of videos on the net like this; i think I spent half a day on google video watching them once. This is one of the better performances I've seen. >Subject: Wow.
