I'm really not sure what Sam's point is ;) I was taking issue with his earlier assertion that she couldn't get a warrant for Moussaui because of concerns about his civil rights. Based on the letter I posted, it looks like a) she was counsel, not an agent, so she would not have been the one to get the warrant anyway and b) she is saying that her concern was not that there was not enough evidence to overcome the privacy issue, but that the FISA warrant was a surer bet.
What Sam thinks she was "wrong" about I am not sure, and don't propose to wade through that very dense link to find out. How can someone be wrong when they are explaining what they thought and why the did what they did? We are down to quibbles over quibbles actually, so broad point? Not sure. Was just irritated by Sam's knee-jerk and bitter query. >What is the broad point behind all of this minutia? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:206942 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
