I dunno. He had a chance to make peace with his God before he died. He had a
chance to reflect on his impending "martyrdom". Remember, these psychos view
death a bit differently than we do.

I think i'd of almost rather it were instant. One second alive, the next,
dead. No reflection, no fan fare, no preaching, no praying, just death.

I think that video they released is really affective in relaying the message
to our enemies that at any moment of any day...it could end in a flash for
you. No moment of glory...just dead.
