One of my son's favorite bands right now is Audioslave... he started
listening to it because he was riffling through my CD collection
looking for something to listen to. he liked the cover of the first
album.

go figure.

so he's grooving out to Cornell, Morello et.al. and I decide that the
time is right to introduce him to Soundgarden.

Holy Crap! I've never seen him happier listening to music! I wonder
sometimes if taste in music is somehow genetic. He has the same
reactions (at least outwardly) as I do when listening.

Started him with Bad Motorfinger and then some of the later stuff.
Haven't thrown down the gauntlet of Rage Against the Machine (he's
almost 12 and not exactly hip to the political square just yet)
