This is not just any Superman movie, it's a Brian Singer Superman. Everything that I have heard has said that the story is awesome and the special effects have done nothing but make Superman more believable, i.e. real flying effects, not just some guy in front of a green screen, real ripple effects on the cape.
Then you have Kevin Spacey as Luthor. Name me a movie where he was bad at acting, I can name a bunch where he was awesome Seven Usual Suspects American Beauty LA Confidential The list goes on and on. They chose an unknown for Superman just like they did for the original, they went with someone they thought could convey Superman and Clark Kent, not someone that would have name draw. It's going to be awesome. The cinema event of the century, can you tell I'm excited?
