I supported the privatization of SS, and I still do.  I also don't give two
shits about anyone stupid enough to get ripped off by scams, and don't want
or need the Democrats to babysit my money for me.

I don't necessarily trust Bush to put together a system
on...well....anything...but I know that what I heard was a step in the right
direction, and I don't really care who put it forward. THe people who shot
down the SS reform because they "dont trust Bush" did us a disservice.

If they said they didn't like the idea of privatization, then I think they
are dead wrong. I'm also a bit tired of the "we want solutions, we just
don't want BUSH to give them to us" mantra. Hate Bush all you want, but
giving you more control over your own money is a good idea, even if Satan
himself proposed it! (which i think some of you believe he did).
