yeah, I think you can set long exposures on it, but that was never the
problem.  Actually, whenever I set the exposure long, it would just
blow out the moon with brightness.  I shot this one with my Nikon D50
and these settings:

Exposure: 1/125 sec
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 300mm
