I feel like Haley Joel Osment. "I see dead languages".

If cf dies, it dies. I don't see it happening, but I've been wrong
before. (I thought Prolog was da bomb)

I still get periodic consulting jobs to fix a piece of old code. The
fact that I still own a legitimate copy of the Clipper 5 compiler
makes me about a grand a year. AutoLisp updates also are nice. Foxpro,
of course. Changes to Director 5 apps. The total pot is usually an
additional 5 grand per year or so at least.

If cf truly dies, there will be LOTS of legacy code.

And with the constant improvements to stability, ease of development
and functionality, it is going no place soon.
