The dog breeder should advise you as to what food to feed, since they will already be on something and should be "experts" in Jack Russel care.
Some people actually brish their dogs teeth. I make sure mine have lots of chewies and treats that work the teeth. As a result thye have awesome teeth. Congrats and good luck!!!
