One of the hardest things for me to do when Lady got diagnosed, was to stop focusing on her eventual death and just enjoy the time I had left with her. Make sure Rocky is comfortable, love him and let him know it. When the time comes that he is ready, it will be obvious. Until then, just love him and do as much with him as you can and he is able.
