Rioting over sport events has nothing to do with being out of touch with reality, it has to do with drunken idiocy. Our little sports riots are nothing compared to soccer riots in europe. As for homegrown terrorism, that happens all over the place, and it has nothing to do with being out of touch with reality either. Are you suggesting that Tim McVeigh was more in touch with reality than the general American public?
