This sounds marvelous!!! I need to try it. I made pumpkin pie and apple pie from scratch this year, crust and everything. Used a fresh whole pumpkin as well, not canned. I'll have to type up the recipe later. Turned out great. Used Granny Smiths for the pie. Yum. I think there's still a slice left somewhere .... :D
I also made homemade cranberry sauce to go with the turkey. That was just the basaic recipe off the back of the cranberry bag though, nothing special.
