artificial--and controllable-- black hole...

As am I. One thing I did note is that in the article they say that the
"inventors" or whomever, WOULD NOT be able to interact with the new
universe. It would simply exist inside its own shell, but would also,
somehow, manage to be infinitely large.

This interesting dichotomy, has a few connotations reminiscent of "For
the Earth is Hollow and I have Touched the Sky" from ST:TOS
