I can't remember when I started doing web pages. Hot dog was what I used, IIRC. Was there a hotmetal? Hrm... anyways, it was all free stuff (of course ;) because someone just asked me and I said, "I'm sure I can figure that out", and I did. For food. - 'twas K-Rad. Was asked to do some stuff in ASP, so I learned some asp. Inherited a Zope site (With some GRIZZLY ass SQL BTW - good stuff to cut teeth on) , so learned some Zope, and a good bit of SQL (Real SQL, with joins and other stuff- not my usual SELECT x y z). Zope still has this place in my heart... eh. That site got re-done in CF, and then handed back to me, the cheap and easy go-to guy who apparently knows computer speak, no matter the language, has a special aura, magic touch, etc.. Of course me and technology are like this [insert me with fingers crossed]- heh- so, you know, -- I did the dew. Somewhere along the line I started getting money instead of food... I still work for food- for my peeps. HW stuff, mostly. It's all been fun. I'm doing a lot of CF, so... here I am, a CF guy. For at least one of my hats (I like to switch them up =). Shout out to Lev, my OG CF guy.
