Wow, you all are so lucky! Being single, I always tend to bomb out at Christmas...and this year was definitely worse than most. I *usually* can at least count on my mom to get me something girly I will like, but this year she didn't do too well. Definitely the worst had to be these two music boxes some friend of hers got at the dollar store and she decided I might like. Her friend told her they were from Star Trek which she knows I watch (although I definitely am not into buying decorative trekkie items!) but they actually were flying saucers from Independence Day...and one of them didn't even work! They had to be the ultimate in tacky!
At least my gifts were all really well received. I spent a lot of time this year doing lots of handmade items for everyone, including a special family calendar with everyone's birthdates and annniversaries (including which one it will be!)
