OK. Here's the skinny. I got this HTML email, right...and, there are certain parts of it that are dynamic.
So, I wanna store the whole thing in a db ... and feed it into a CFMAIL template I have built (that sends text if you can't take HTML), which works great by the way. My stupid Q-of-the-Day is more of a survey ... I need to be able to upload however many HTML templates I want, yet have a format that has certain variables in the email which get changed by yet another process. Lose anyone yet? So I'm pasting this big huge HTML page into a text box to store in a db. Then, I'm editing this HTML version ... is it a good idea and is it clean to feed this HTML in and out of a db? Should I just edit the one field with the WHOLE HTML in it, or should I keep the separate variables in the HTML and evaluate them? I'm so tired of thinking about this and my hubby is asleep or I'd ask him. <sigh> Erika ----------------------------------------------------- ______________________________________________________________________ Your ad could be here.
