In the late 60's I found my Uncle's Erector set and Lincoln Logs from the 40's in my GrandParents garage.
I built a 7'6" Robot that stood behind the head board of my bed. He wasn't mechanical, didn't do anything but he was my Robot and protector. I remember mimicking the electronic robot voice from Lost in Space, Danger Ken, Danger!
