I'm loving being closer to work-- I could actually ride a bike
now, which I'll probably end up doing, as I do love to ride.

See, we're a knee-jerk society, folks. It's Retarded, I know,
but don't blame them. They procreated like rabbits, probably
one of the larger family trees. Har.

Anywhoo- There is no such thing as "proof". Besides that,
it seems to me that, big as the world is, and as nice as it
is to think we have no effect on it (which, to a certain extent
is true- I mean, we could nuke ourselves off the planet-- not
like the planet would cease to exist-- perhaps life would even
come back, eventually-- really, it's US who we need to worry
about, not the freaking planet. But I digress), we do in fact
effect our environment.

I brought up the trees just because it's one thing that made
an impress on me, ya know. Gave me that Sad Indian type
of feeling-- I swear, a tear formed.

I love trees. Especially super old ones, and big ones-- well,
little ones too, but, whatever. Pine is not the same as oak,
and man planned trees ain't the same as natural ones.

We're messing up ourselves, and the only thing that seems
to spur action is entertainment. My wife pointed out that
there was never a shot of the same scene for more than 3
seconds on TV the other night-- less with "24". =]

So yeah, even if Global Warming isn't "hard science", or
whatever-- I'm a little more solid on it than, say, the big
bang.

But you gotta remember, I live in a "bowl", where the
smog and such sorta just hangs out, "the brown ring",
ya know. So I'm probably biased a bit, vs. someone
living somewhere where the stuff floats off to wherever
it goes. But whatever.

You all are correct, we don't know "for sure" if we can
really effect something as awesomely huge as the
freaking Earth.

Pbbbbbt.
