It amazes me how my mom raised 5 kids all within a couple years of each other (my brother and I are only 18 months apart!) They have a procedure for women now called Essure that is non-invasive as well. Basically not much different than getting scoped, so a good alternative to getting your tubes tied and just as effective if done successfully. I was kind of researching it awhile ago as my insurance doesn't cover birth control but *does* cover sterilization. Go figure!
