I can't remember. I used "TURTLE"(?) on an apple in pre-school, IIRC... :-)
My dad is a tech-head, and is into packet radio, etc., so he had a bunch of stuff I (pretty much literally) just played with. I think the cassette tape one was the oldest one I played with. He'd regale me w/ stories of flow-dynamics on punch cards growing up tho, so I feel that era a bit. :-) Seriously started around 8088s, with BASIC I think. At least that was the first comp in my room, I believe. Pops was also an Atari/ Zenith "Official" salespoint or whatever (they were sticklers about who could sell their stuff). Didn't make enough to keep that going. And shortly after they both were gone anyways. *sigh* Zenith! Suffice to say, I had all the tech opportunities one could wish for while growing up. 'cept for commodore... =-) Ha! Tandy... didn't Radio Shack buy them? Them and Packard Bell, were of questionable quality, towards the end... =-P Was on prodigy, which went to what- compuswerve? Can't remember, it changed hands a bunch. Procomm Plus baby! Fun times... linux on about a hundred floppies... yeah, those were the days!
