Yeah - I've gone at least that long with a leaky gas tank... but if I don't fill it past a half tank it's fine. ;^) So far it's gotten through inspection every year. Since I don't drive more than 10 miles a day it's working for me. (The blue-book value of the car hovers around $250... I'm not doing a $400 repair if I can at all help - or ignore - it.)
